data lives

The path your messages take

You connect to app.liberclaw.ai, which runs on a virtual machine on Aleph Cloud in Europe. When you chat, your message passes through our API to your agent, which runs on its own virtual machine on an Aleph Cloud compute node (a CRN, one of the independent machines that make up the Aleph network). The agent calls LibertAI for inference, which runs open models on European infrastructure.

There is no OpenAI, no Anthropic, and no Amazon Web Services anywhere in this path.

What lives on your agent's machine

Your agent's memory, files, and conversation history live on its own virtual machine, separate from other users' agents.

What we can technically access today

The disks of agent machines are not yet encrypted per user, so LiberClaw operators could technically access them, and chat passes through our API while it is being delivered. Secrets such as your agent's access tokens are stored encrypted in our database.

We are building confidential computing, hardware encrypted virtual machines, so that even we cannot look inside an agent's machine. That work is designed but has not shipped yet, and this page will say so until it has.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Revolut. We never see your card number; Revolut tells us that a payment succeeded and for which plan.

Analytics

We run our own analytics, a self-hosted Umami instance. No third-party trackers, no advertising pixels. Our web servers keep standard access logs for a short period to operate the service.
