Cookie Policy
Last updated: February 2026
Our commitment: LiberClaw does not use tracking cookies or analytics. We only store the minimal data required for the platform to function.
1. What We Store
Authentication Tokens (Strictly Necessary)
- JWT access token (valid 15 minutes) — maintains your logged-in session
- JWT refresh token (valid 30 days) — keeps you logged in without re-entering credentials
- Storage: secure storage (mobile) or localStorage (web)
These tokens are essential for authentication and cannot be disabled without preventing you from using the platform.
User Preferences (Strictly Necessary)
- Onboarding completion flag (
liberclaw_onboarding_seen) — prevents showing the welcome flow repeatedly - Storage: AsyncStorage (mobile) or localStorage (web)
Third-Party Cookies (OAuth)
When you sign in using "Continue with Google" or "Continue with GitHub," those providers may set their own cookies during authentication. These are controlled by Google and GitHub, not by LiberClaw.
- Google OAuth — subject to Google's Privacy Policy
- GitHub OAuth — subject to GitHub's Privacy Policy
2. What We Do Not Use
LiberClaw does not use:
- Analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Plausible, Matomo, or similar)
- Advertising or marketing cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Third-party tracking scripts
- Behavioral profiling tools
3. Why No Cookie Banner
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and French law (Article 82 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés), cookies that are strictly necessary for providing a service explicitly requested by the user do not require consent.
All storage used by LiberClaw falls within this "strictly necessary" category. Therefore, no cookie consent banner is displayed, in accordance with CNIL guidelines (Délibération n° 2020-091 du 17 septembre 2020).
